Privacy Policy — Outlier: Mastery

Effective date: 2 June 2026  ·  Last updated: 22 June 2026

The short version: Outlier stores all your data locally on your device. Nothing is ever sent to a server. We collect nothing.

1. Data we collect

We do not collect any personal data. Outlier: Mastery does not require an account, does not connect to the internet, and does not transmit any information to us or any third party.

2. Data stored on your device

The app stores the following data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:

— Subjects you create (name, target hours, icon)
— Focus sessions you log (subject, duration, date)
— Streak and achievement records

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly back it up through iCloud or your computer, which are governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

3. Analytics & tracking

We do not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, or advertising networks. We have no visibility into how you use the app.

4. Third-party services

Outlier: Mastery uses no third-party SDKs or services.

5. Children's privacy

The app collects no data from anyone, including children under 13, and contains no ads, no external links, and no user-to-user communication.

6. Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy in a material way, we will update the effective date above. Given the nature of the app, we do not anticipate changes.
